Since 16 years as a sound recorder and sound editor with work experience on many wildlife and society documentaries.

She recorded sound all around the globe – travel in the cold of North Poles, Savana in Africa, Red desert in Australia, Kiwis and New Zealand sceneries … to Bhutaneses refugees camps in Nepal, Uganda & Birmania …

To complement the sound recording, she work as sound editor for documentaries. Throughout the travels around the world she have created a large personal library of sounds that she can use on projects.

Before turning into sound recording & freelance, Melanie spent three years at the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) where she worked as: AVID system specialist (film composer, audiovision).



She’s enthusiastic, good nature, hard working and do not mind working in remote places during harsh conditions.
